What do you mean by “blogging budget”? Or will that be covered . . . as this series continues . . . and the world turns? ; )
Yes, some blogs do cost money to maintain. And in some cases putting up the cash makes sense. More on this down the line.
Continued in Part 3 didn’t have a link to Part 4) like Part 1 to get to part 2 did. (and subsequent parts do)
I was able to go down a couple of lines and find « Blogosphere What is Your Blog About? Blogging: 101 pt. 3 » (You don’t want this to point back to part 1 as well?)
I got to part 3 from there.
i am now disturbed. maybe slightly excited. i started my blog with the main purpose of finding out exactly what all this bloging is about. so far so good. i get it. cool. interesting. i started mine with one idea and now it seems to be changing. i want to write but its so difficult. i do love reading your blog though. so many new and interesting things to learn about.
Hi, Linda. Thanks for dropping by and reading.
I think I should make something clear about blogging. First, while I am still fairly new at it, I’ve thought about it, and studied quite a bit. Nonetheless I am no expert.
Secondly, the biggest mistake most people make when they start a blog is to start it for the wrong reason. As I see it, there are two major paths to take for a new blogger. One is Profit, and the other is Information distribution. Both are valid, but it takes a tremendous amount of work to make an informational blog monetarily successful. Hope this makes sense and helps.
I’ll be happy to answer any questions you have.
