Good friend, and fellow blogger, Nancy R. Hatch left me a message about this a few days ago, and I only just got around to reading it. (Sorry, Nancy!)
You may know that I am big on “Pep Talks” for writers. I don’t know how I missed this one the first time around. That said, I’ve done some searching on the Internet, and have found that the video below is a remake of part three of a four-part video called Ira Glass on Storytelling.
The version that Nancy found in her own daily web-searching takes that third part, edits it a little, and adds some clever graphics.
I agree with her, and the others who have posted this here and there. This is worth your time.
If you’re interested in the full four-part program (without the animation and editing), take a look on Youtube. Ira Glass on Story Telling.

There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio... and isn't it time you experienced some of them?
I just watched it again for the 3rd time and love it!
Being a bit disappointed in our words shows that we have KILLER TASTE . . . and our creativity will catch up, but only if we continue to exercise it on a regular basis.
