Johnny Rivers had a classic sound. I loved almost every song he recorded. ”Baby, I Need Your Lovin’” is a song he covered in 1967. Originally done by The Four Tops in 1964, this version is slower paced, and very effective. It reached #3 on Billboard Hot 100, topping the original version in chart performance. It is included on his 1967 album “Rewind” and is one of his most remembered songs.
